Today while doing my daily workout this song came on in my playlist and I honestly just started to tear up. I know I deal with some things internally and have hung onto physical health implications and what if's around it far more than I should, but this song kind of pointed that out to me. The lines, "I keep dragging around what's bringing me down. If I just let go, I'd be set free." The song itself is about more than what I got from it but this just hit me because the reason I'm doing my jump rope challenge is that I struggle to get myself into any sort of physical activity. I have carried around a backpack full of millions of worries and what if's and all these negative thoughts but haven't been able to stay on the one true and real thought. What if I'm fine, and anything I ever do is okay because it simply is? What if it all turns out better than I ever imagined and I live life as healthy as possible because I stay active? I realized that even if I look at the positives for the majority of things, the majority doesn't mean it's the biggest thing weighing me down. For anyone carrying around a backpack of what if's, find it in you to drop the backpack. Reach out to others and find all the amazing things that could and are so much more likely to happen, and enjoy life. Find music that inspires you and people that are willing and wanting to stick beside you when you struggle and do the same for them. It means more to us than they may ever know when someone has our back no matter what and wants to see us prevail.
